Sign Sign Everywhere a Sign

Looking around, you see lots of big signs up for reelection along with a particularly funky picture billboard on Del Range. glick (in his version of reality) must think that if he gets enough signs up that he can fool enough people for a third term.

Ddg hates to break the bad news, but people are not buying your drivel this time. It is time for a change, so talk to your family and friends.

Remember, friends don't let friends vote for glick.

  1. The problem is Glick is putting up his signs anywhere he pleases. He's trying just to keep pace with Bill Thompson and not asking the land owners. The Manager at Grease Monkey on E. Lincolnway said he didn't want it there but said he had no control over the planter. Glick also did not get permission for the Aspen Building on Del Range and Converse or the vacant lot next to the main post office. I'll bet he didn't even get permission for the hidious billboard sign with the muskrat on his lip. He probably only has that so he doesn't have to look at his "Bride"

  2. Reality check, the majority of the signs have been placed per the request of the people who want to show their support. Danny Glick is a great Sheriff and both I and my husband are proud to support him.

  3. Lets get real, putting up signs all around town only gets the name out there, but we have to get the man behind the pictures out there. What does Danny propose to do with his 5th penny tax, your tax dollars? If you listened to his radio talk, he said he was going to buy bullet proof vests for his Deputies....ok, that is good and needed, but what Danny is not telling everyone that he is already spending all the money in his budget in Lawyers fees, to play out his personal vendettas against ex-employees. Not only does Danny fire employees.....(9 since the first of the year) but then he denies their unemployement.....then when the unemployement agency finds against Danny and Company, he gets an attorney to fight the unemployment appeal, which is based on federal case history. So there you have it folks, Danny is spending your 5th penny tax(even before he gets it) for his personal grudges.....why in the world do people keep voting for him? It is time to take back control of your beloved city, vote Danny out!

  4. Dear Ellen,

From your post "Reality check, the majority of the signs have been placed per the request of the people who want to show their support"

What about the other signs? Seriously, can you tell me that you know every single person that got a sign and that every single person asked for one? Because if thats what you are saying, I am calling you a liar. I know for a FACT that the sign at Grease Monkey was not asked for nor wanted. I know for a FACT, that the sign at Aspen Ridge was not asked for nor wanted.

You and Steve may be Danny and Pam's friends, but I truly doubt you know the wickedness or the vindictivness behind the mask. Ask people like Terry Bohlig who was once his best friend how quick the snake can turn on you.

  5. To Ellen Wheeler,

If Danny has obtained permission from land owners then explain to us why many of those signs are disappearing. One day there was one to the north of nursing home on Powderhouse, then it was gone. Same for the big sign he had just south of the Chinese/Donut shop at 8th Ave/Central.

I could probably save you the embarrassment by answering for you. One, he put them up without permission and was told to take them down; two, people are waking up and realizing what a freaking loser Danny really is!

  6. Did I forget to tell you? Danny was so desperate last election that no one would help him put up his campaign signs that he called a local juvenile correction facility and asked for help. Sure enough, Jack and Landy were sent to help. They actually brought along a juvenile incarcerated in the facility to help put up Glick for Sheriff signs!!! I wonder what DFS what think about that? What a guy that Danny Glick is and he wants to be the National Sheriff Associations president!! What did he use this year, inmates from the jail?

    Don't re-elect Glick/Indict his Ass!

  7. I did ask Terry Bohlig about this and I was surprised by his response. What he is most upset most about is that Danny posted his picture in the County Building as a "threat" to County employees after he was terminated. He is a proud MAN who spent his career (29 years) helping victims and putting assholes in prison. He risked his life without a second thought if that was what was necessary to get the job done. Glick posted his picture as threat to the same people he spent his career protecting. Most County elected officials refused to do what Glick wanted and would not display Bohlig's picture.

Bohlig said he knew he did not have a chance to be fairly judged when Pam Glick blamed him for "getting" Bill Thompson to run for sheriff. Bohlig said he would never apologize for shooting out the tire of that asshole who drove his car at him. Keep in mind, Bohlig was driving alongside a fugitive who was reported to be armed and dangerous and wanted for aggravated assault when he swerved his car at Bohlig at 90 miles per hour. I saw the tapes and that was what happened. Keep in mind this same suspect was armed with a submachine gun and pounds of cocaine in a previous chase in the West Coast. Not only did Glick humiliate Bohlig, who served Larmaie County for over 29 years, by posting his picture in the County building as a common criminal but Glick also tried to have Bohlig charged criminally for ending a high speed pursuit by shooting out the tire of a armed and dangerous suspect who was under the influence of meth. The District Attorney exonerated Bohlig in this case saying he did nothing wrong. What is wrong with this picture?

Hillegas and Crumpton had previously tried to have Bohlig arrested when Bohlig chased an armed robber into Colorado and arrested him at the Budweiser plant. Apparently Hillegas and Crumpton didn't like Bohlig's extradition process on an armed robber that was wanted for over 10 robberies. Again the DA said Bohlig acted properly.

It was only a matter of time till they got him.

I wish he was still here with us!
