National Sheriff's Association

From down at the office, the word is that glick wants to be the president of the National Sheriff's Association sooooooooooo bad. That will give him another excuse (not that he needs one) not to be in the office.

glick thinks that another four year term as sheriff (you have to be a sheriff) will let him go up the election chain to president in the National Sheriff's Association. Gosh, isn't it great that the Laramie County Sheriff would have the time and money to serve as a national leader of an association when his office is in critical need of leadership? If you give glick a third term and four more years of political promotions, Laramie County will suffer.

That will be for you, the voters to decide.

Remember, even part time friends don't let friends vote for glick!

  1. A Chief from a Police Dept. in California roomed with Glick at one of his many "Look at Me" training conferences and stated Glick was a complete moron who only wanted a pat on the back and a beer on his lips.

  2. I'm not sure if the public fully understands what this means for the county. It means more travelling for Glick and less training for the employees. Danny doesn't bring anything back to his people, this is all about him. He is making it better for him, not for this Department. This is all about Danny using this Department and THIS County's funds to move to a different job in 7 years. How long can this County afford him?

He openly told this to the paper and Bob Fecht questioned him about being gone so much. Call and verify this with Bob Fecht, I'm sure he'll tell you the truth.

  3. Danny has told his staff, who in turn told the front line Deputies, that due to the poor budget, no training classes would be authorized for any of the deputies. I guess Danny wasn't talking about anyt of his "training" in Florida, Las Vegas or any other "Non-Fun" places. I have been turned down for several classes that would have been completely paid for by the Feds but Danny is affraid of anyone smarter than he thinks he is.

  4. Glick is spending tax payer to further his own ego. $200 to $400 a night rooms, over 26 trips. The only thing he brought back was a prescription drug turn in program. WoW, an impressive accomplishment when meth is ravaging our community. He is gone 20% of the year on these trips. While the residents of Laramie County are getting robbed, murdered, burglarized and shot, he is gone wasting our money for his personal glory.

I am sure his Captains and LT's still get their yearly Las Vegas trips.

All this comes at the expense of obtaining necessary training for the Deputies.

    Laramie County retire this deadbeat!

  5. Regarding the $400.00 a night room in DC with the $20.00 cab ride for 4 blocks, Thats BS. Look up the governement per diem rate and see what the going rate the county will pay for rooms. And with a Grandfather who worked for Boeing and was in DC on a biweekly basis, $20.00 is way over priced and it was probably Danny supplementing his alcohol fund and having the County pay a large cab fee to hide his drinking.

  6. Danny did start a prescription drug take back program. It was actually a hastily thrown together program that had no thought put into it at all. He pulled the idea out of no where when the Tribune Eagle wrote the article that was a little critical of him and his "training" trips. Once he said something to the media he had to throw something together to half way justify his "training" trips. This program is a joke and does not benefit Laramie County at all.
